This course will equip you with knowledge that focuses on the holistic treatment of an individual to heal disease. Often in the modern world we treat the disease symptomatically without looking at the holistic nature of the body and mind. The root of the problem is never treated, which is why most people who take conventional pills are never able to come out of the vicious cycle. In Ayurveda, we look at the holistic picture of health that doesn’t separate the disease from the individual. To treat a disease the individual needs to be treated as a whole. This course will give healing options to therapists and healers who want to work on the overall wellness of an individual.
Ayurveda Therapist Level 2 is expanding the knowledge learnt in the Ayurveda Therapist Level 1 course. Most of the disorders that human beings suffer from, are rooted in improper digestion and metabolism (Agni). We start the course organically with the in depth understanding of the concept of agni and the disorders caused due to its imbalance: indigestion, gas, bloating, heartburn, hyper-acidity, constipation, nausea, IBS, IBD, etc. and the treatment of these.
Further we will study the core concepts of Ayurvedic understanding and management of various pathologies like Jwara (Fever), Bleeding disorders, metabolic disorders, skin disorders, Respiratory disorders, degenerative disorders, inflammatory disorders and Gyaenocological disorders. We will also discuss pregnancy care, rasayana treatments and mental health.
The treatments we study are tailored to suit the modern world, are practical, risk free and can be practiced without having complex infrastructure and chemical medicines. Unfortunately, in the modern world we think that health is the responsibility of medically trained doctors or health professionals only. Ayurveda focuses on individual education and tries to give self-responsibility to the patient. Through this course you can learn how to educate and train an individual who wants to come out of the vicious cycle of conventional pills.
